Wishing all the Moms a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! Though this Mothers Day may look and feel different, its a GREAT time to start a new tradition and make a memory. Mom’s, your are loved, appreciated and celebrated today.. and everyday. This year with times being what they are, my small portrait studio had to abide to the state rules and the portrait sessions I once had booked were regretfully cancelled. With that being said things are tight but God is good and provides what my family and I need. This image, was created for my Mom. So excited to be awarded a BLUE RIBBON for my “Pet Portrait”. They set up a new category this year for those that do photography for a living (or try… LOL) This is one of my favorite images taken of my Svart Hona chicken Sweetness (as my kids affectionately named him) He was my photography class model that day and his feathers though black have a BEAUTIFUL green, blue and purple sheen.
